A new method for determining the equipment heat dissipation in weak current equipment rooms of subway stations is presented. This method uses the measured data of the heat dissipation of the weak current equipment and the model prediction data to verify each other, which can effectively improve the accuracy of determining the heat dissipation of the weak current equipment. The effects of indoor air temperature, subway operation, equipment rated power and station type on the equipment heat dissipation are studied. The results show that the method for determining the equipment heat dissipation in weak current equipment rooms of subway stations based on the indirect measurement and the prediction model can improve and ensure the accuracy of the calculation results of equipment heat dissipation. The indoor air temperature will significantly affect the temperatures of the external surface of the equipment and the inner surface of the building envelope and the heat flux density of the inner surface of the building envelope, but has little effect on the outer surface heat flux density of the equipment. Whether the subway operates or not has a great influence on the equipment heat dissipation in weak current equipment rooms. The equipment heat dissipation during the subway operation period is greater than that during the non-operation period. The rated power of the equipment has a great influence on the peak heat dissipation of the equipment in weak current equipment rooms, and the station type and building area have little influence on the peak heat dissipation of the equipment.
